| This was my fortune cookie this morning on Facebook.
Oddly enough, it goes right along with life at the moment.
Which gets me thinking. Just how much humor does God have? Quite a bit, friends, quite a bit. |

| When it comes to boys and girls, there are two kinds of love. Neither of which should be taken very lightly, nor used in any manner except to express one's feelings for another. (I tried to find a surgeon general who would endorse this, but alas, improper use of Love isn't going to poison you….much)
So, we have the first kind of Love. Rather….the first stage. This Love comes after Dating, the First Kiss, Dinner with Family, and all other signs of a mature relationship (i.e. fighting PROPERLY, making up, compromise, etc). This is "Being in Love". It is not optional; one cannot choose to be in Love, one can only fall in love; most of the time on accident. Symptoms of being in love are as follows: forgetfulness, daydreaming, frequent smiling, a musical preference of light rock, and a generally pleasant attitude. There is currently no known cure.
Now we move on to the second type (or stage) of Love. This is "To Love." It is in fact a verb, (not THAT verb….sicko). Loving is a choice. It is something that lasts way after 'Being in Love' and way WAY after the honeymoon stage. This is a choice that one makes every morning when looking at your man's crusty face with stinky morning breath that no matter how much of a dork he is, no matter how much he may offend you with his farting, burping, body hair or general public rudeness, regardless of ANYTHING…..you have his back and promise to take care of him and look out for his physical and emotional well being. This Love, sadly, cannot be forever. It is hard, and people will falter in their Love for one another. But, this Love is the ultimate between two people. Something coveted and cherished. |

| I'd forgotten how great it is to have short hair. Really.
Primp time is minimized, and if it looks like crap, well.....call it 'original' and get on with your day. AND if someone notes how great your 'original' look is, give a thank you, and revel in the fact that your hair will always look good.
I'd really forgotten. Pictures to follow.
Oh, and brandon.....i'll let you know when I'm coming down again. I figure next time deserves fair warning! |
